The Park - Current Images

The Park is an enigma. Many plans have crossed the table. Do you remember the movies showing themes centering on the moon, the sun and water? These were creations from the design team that included the Goddard Group and Cirque du Soleil. In 2017, there was talk about the "Celebrate Park Resort Hotel, and new private properties that included the Kingdom of the Sun Nuevo Vallarta, the The Grand Cascades Nuevo Vallarta and Kingdom of the Stars, all this within the Cirque du Soleil Theme Park Mexico project in the mexican pacific."
Following is a video we found on YouTube that promoted the Park:

In 2018, there was less talk about the different, new properties, and the photos of the architectural renderings offer a very different feel. A fellow Aimfair member shared the following photos with us; you can draw your own conclusions: (Tap the photos to expand, then tap your browser's back arrow to return to the page.)

Is Cirque du Soleil still a part of the Park? Only management knows for sure. Certainly, the keystones seem to be missing: Celebrate Park Hotel, The Grand Cascades, Kingdom of the Sun and Kingdom of the Stars - now missing from promotional information. Were they the result of Cirque's creativity? Probably. Is the Cirque organization still part of the park? We have no idea. One thing we do know: We signed a contract that includes a recital that assures the company that we did not rely upon Cirque du Soleil being the reason for making whatever purchase we made.
The other thing we do know is a large amount of work being done in the Park. This is evidenced by the following videos:
The Park Timeshare Buildings Along Jarretaderas
The Park looking south, west, north, and east.
What an amazing facility in the making. The concept of "Build it, they will come" is in play here. The buildings in the Park are timeshares, not hotels. They are likely being sold now. There appears to be twelve buildings being built along the Jarretaderas border now, and they are likely to be five to six stories tall. It will be fun to watch the Park evovle.
