Security is a major concern for resort management. An incident involving a golf cart crossing Blvd. Nayarit and a taxi could have been serious. As it turns out, according to one person familiar with the incident, no one was injured. Everyone dodged a bullet, as we all know how fast cars and trucks move on Blvd. Nayarit during the day and at night.
That said, members of Vidanta get the feeling that management unwittingly or knowingly tries to restrict their freedom to leave the property on foot. There are many attractions in the Marina Nuevo Vallarta area that guests frequently like to visit. (Please tap the photo below to enlarge, and tap your browser's back arrow to return to this page.)
Are restrictions relaxing? Read what this Aimfair member, who is there now, had to say about his party's recent experiences leaving the property on foot:
Well, we went to Porto Bello and Blue Shrimp over past 2 nights. Had no trouble walking out over golf bridge at sunset. Both restaurants were busy. Both had good service and good food. Took a cab home.
