(The above photos show roadside billboard signs along Highway 307. Heavy advertising of these Jungle Estates suggests potential buyers are not limited to existing owners of timeshare contracts issued by Vida Vacations.)

Lindsa_M's father is in Riviera Maya as we speak. Here is the latest sales update:
$3MM to $9MM Condominiums Newest Vidanta Offer
My father is currently in Riviera Maya with friends staying in a 3-Bdrm Villa. He told me he was shocked to hear the latest sales pitch, and after he "tried" to explain it to me, I too was totally shocked. Its amazing how far-reaching, convoluted and perhaps deceptive Vida's sales program has strayed from the old days of simply offering upgrades for a fee ranging from 20k - 40k. Like I said, the message is now highly convoluted but what I could gather are the following key elements of their new sales pitch:
Elements of the Plan:
- We are Loft owners and he was told that there is nothing for us to upgrade too anymore. They claim they are are only seeing him to him about the companies expansion plans.
- Allegedly they are no longer offering basic upgrades anymore to owners. The goal is to have everyone buy into their latest innovative and unbelievable plans/scheme.
Of course at the end of the day they did discuss upgrading our 2 Bdrm Loft to a 3 Bdrm by the time the third manager came around. My father was also told that Vida is only offering this to Charter Member of which there are only 140 members. I actually don't remember being a Charter member but maybe we are, or maybe they made that part up to make him feel special. Did we buy/invest? No... However I love the fact that they are still building fast and furious, and have grand dreams. I love it the excitement!
- Vida plans on building $3 - $9 million condos/homes that include up to 9 bedrooms on the property where the expanded JOYA entertainment park will be located.
- My father said there are billboards up near the highway that he took pictures of that support this claim. He will send them to me soon.
- The multi-million dollar condos/homes will all be front-ended with a water-way and boat access to the ocean. I have no idea how they are going to build a channel to the ocean from the other side of the highway, but supposedly there is a bridge down the highway that can be trenched to the ocean. Don't shoot the messenger.
- The new theme park is going to be over two times larger than Disneyland (not sure which park is the reference) and cost about $200 per person to enter.
- They now are requesting a $40k investment from Luxxe owners to get in at the ground level. The benefits include the following:
- The ability to somehow rent your partial ownership of these amazing properties and earn money.
- The ability to sell out a portion of your equity stake if desired. However, you can only sell a maximum of 60% of your equity investment and it can't exceed more than 20% of the total investment made by the new investor that is buying your equity. Yeah - this requires more explaining.
- You get discounts on Park tickets.
- You gain access to these incredible properties via some type of pooling system based on availability, meaning unused rooms or vacancies. If your the first person to request that room you can use it at an undisclosed amount. Considering they are worth millions of dollars I have no idea how much they would rent for...
Very cool! We are moving into the shared real estate world.....maybe. What we don't know is a lot. We also don't know whether the offering continues to be under the terms of a Right to Use Contract (This is most likely the case because of tighter real estate laws.) or a deeded interest. Probably the use will be defined by contract and the purchase will be of contract rights.
So, where will these new homes be located? Evidently they will be west of the Joya Theater.
