Yesterday, we received a notice from Grupo Vidanta announcing the opening of its second Grand Luxxe building in Riviera Maya.

On November 7, 2011, Grupo Vidanta sent its Grand Luxxe members an announcement that a second Grand Luxxe building would open in November 2011 and that space is available during the Christmas and New Year season. Very nice announcement and good news for Grand Luxxe members wishing to get away on short notice during the Christmas Holidays.


This is great news for all Grand Luxxe members living east of the Rockies because inventory (available rooms) has doubled at the Riviera Maya property. Now there are 72 two bedroom units on the property, which expands to 144 living units, which are one bedroom and their adjacent lock off units.

This floor plan of the Grand Luxxe Master Villa Suite shows the layout for the Suite (1 BR); the Lock Off, which is called the Luxxe Junior Villa and, when combined, the 2 BR unit. A fellow member contributed this photo to our collection. We do not know if the measurements are correct. However, the rendering does show the layout well.




The announcement also invites members to make reservations during the Christmas Holiday season, which is normally not available. This represents a great opportunity for families, couples and individuals who do not have firm plans for the Holidays.

If you are not a member, you too can make use of these weeks. Just contact your friends, who are Grand Luxxe members and who have been touting their fun experiences at the Grand Luxxe Residence Club properties. Ask them how to rent a week from them. You can also send a note to infoaboutus@luxxeowners.com or to any of members with listings on the Rentals and Sales pages. We are sure they would be more than happy to help you out.
