The question was raised the other day....What are the Fire and Emergency Protocols on Vidanta's property in Nuevo Vallarta?
The issue was escalated because there allegedly was a fire that broke out in the Tacos Break (Old name) in the Mercado, across from the Azur Restaurant in La Plaza. The fire must not have been very large because only one person brought it to our attention. Regardless, that does not reduce the importance of knowing what to do and who to call.
Interestingly, there is a new Emergency telephone number we can all access while in Nuevo Vallarta. The new number is being introduced now and will replace the old 611 number. Here is what we found:
The new emergency number is 911 in Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas.
