Update from a Grand Luxxe Owner
August 9, 2013
We have heard from a Grand Luxxe Owner who has been traveling...Riviera Maya in February and San Jose del Cabo in June. He heads to Nuevo Vallarta in March. Not quite an "around the horn", but getting close.
In addition to sending us his report, he also sent us a map of the East Cape project. Fascinating!!! Enjoy his comments:

Glad you found the Plans helpful. We were in Riviera Maya in Feb. & Cabo in June. We will be back in Nuevo Vallarta in March and look forward to seeing the new "Sanctuario" Building & new Pools. We will be staying in one of the Spa Tower 3-Bdrm. corner units and are anxious to look at the "Lofts" if they have them open there yet.
In "East Cape" (San Jose del Cabo) construction is progressing rapidly and they have hopes of a "soft" opening in February or March. I'm told it might be a little later...April or May. They will open with just a small amount of amenities but are supposed to have shuttles available to take people back & forth between East Cape and the Grand Mayan property. East Cape will contain the "higher-end" Grand Luxxe, Spa Tower & Residence Lofts as well as having a couple of self-contained (almost single-family house) units. (See East Cape Site Plan).
FYI... We went over to the San Jose Marina- but did not go all the way to the construction site. However, dump trucks were shuttling back & forth as fast as they could...moving dirt. East Cape was originally scheduled to open this coming Fall (Sept.???-Oct.???). I was told that there were some delays at East Cape because of some cost "issues" in Riviera Maya - that's why early next Spring is the current soft opening date.
As for the Sales process...it is getting a little more "personal" - which is nice. We have been with this company now for almost 12 years and have gotten to the Platinum Level...so they have treated us very well. There is now a "Personal Sale Associate" that you have assigned to you so that you always have someone you can contact with questions, concerns or even personal requests.
Regards,
A Grand Luxxe Owner
Trucks filled with dirt running up and down the East Cape road. Are they Grupo Vidanta's trucks? We don't know. But to fantasize for a moment, wouldn't it be phenomenal if the company could open in East Cape in April or May of 2015? What fun!!
