The Nayarit Blvd Overpass - Golf Carts Only

The Golf Cart Overpass that allows golf carts to safely cross Boulevard Nayarit is a solid structure that is made for golf carts only. Security closes a very stout gate every evening. It seems a shame to not allow pedestrian traffice to use the overpass too.
The Jack Nicklaus course first hole is near the driving range and golf academy - a long way away from Tower Five. The course proceeds along a route that parallels the river road to an area in front of Tower Five. It then moves to the area north of the taxi and valet parking area. The road at this point was used by taxis and shuttles that took guests to the outer gate to walk the Marina area. Now, foot traffic is discouraged by hotel management.

Tower Five is nearly finished. Opening is scheduled for December 15. The new building that is under construction appears to have Villa and Suite configurations on the first floor..
Tacos Break is now in the Mercado, opposite the Azur Restaurant in the Plaza. The new name for this famous restaurant is Corners Break.
The overpass gate is very stout. You can't drive through it and climbing over it is not an option for most of us.
We are not sure what this conctruction area will become. Possibly Bliss, maybe Mayan Palace units. Or, could this be connected with the convention center?
The Old Entrance is no longer. Now a guard gate keeps unauthorized autos out. Also, the new overpass that leads from the privately owned condos is connected to the valet parking.
The new overpass and private entrance is very obvious from the golf cart road over Boulevard Nayarit. True the cart overpass is a safer way to reach the golf holes on the other side of Boulevard Nayarit, but closing off the exits to foot traffic has expanded guest compaints about being held captive.
There is no question the property is huge when considering both golf courses and the property boundaries. The shear size makes getting on and off the property by foot a challenge. That said, the option should be there. And, it is if one wants to walk to the Sea Garden (Now called Ocean Breeze Hotels.). Not so bad, and very enjoyable! But, not for everyone!!
