Interactive Social Media Allows Real Time Communication for Members and Prospective Visitors Alike
NUEVO VALLARTA, MEXICO--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) - Grupo Vidanta launches a social media experience exclusively for their upscale Grand Luxxe luxury resort members and visitors.
The new website, blog, custom Facebook and e-blast link management and patrons through social media, encouraging an honest and transparent dialog between members and staff. Visitors can use the new website to learn about local attractions, activities, climate, services, and amenities in real time. They can book a room, book a golf outing or plan their next spa service.
"Our goal with this social presence is to give our members as much information as possible, as quickly as possible in order to clearly communicate the resort features and benefits, including construction updates, events, dining, golf, and spa updates. Basically, we wanted to create an online resort experience that becomes a benefit to membership," said Renee Lewis, President of Lewis and Partners, the creative agency behind the redesign.
The new social network encourages members to share information with their friends and families and reinforces that being a Grand Luxxe member has value for generations.

Since its Beta launch in January 2011, the Facebook custom tab has driven over 50% of the traffic to the existing website. With the launch of the new platform, Lewis expects the online traffic to increase by at least another 50% with reservations to increase by 20%.
