Estates Update - Jalisco
Our last update was
in March, 2020 when we took photos of the construction activity at the Jalisco Estates site. Before that, we posted our photos from a
January, 2020 visit. There is a lot going on there. Here is a summary of the current state:

- Pod #2 is under construction. Buildings are smaller than Pod #1 buildings and the configuration is different. Access to rooms in Pod #1 appears to be through the center "Hub" elevator, whereas access to rooms in Pod #2 might be similar to Riviera Maya Luxxe buildings with entry to rooms from the interior courtyards.

- Pod #2 buildings are different from Pod #1 buildings. Pod #2 buildings are narrower, implying Pod #2 will not have 4 Bedroom units in them. Most likely they will be 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom units.

- Central Plaza construction is progressing. It is still unclear what the space will actually be, although restaurants could be located at the end of one of the extensions, a gym and spa could be at the end of another extension. Will the pool for all guests be located in this central area too? Stay tuned...
The Central Plaza may serve as the center of activity for Estates owners and guests. Restaurants, shops and pool areas are needed to support Estates guests. Is this where they will be located? Or, will guests be required to be transported to the large buildings along the Boca de Tomates road? Stay tuned....

- Two new Pod construction sites have appeared. The footprint suggests the new complex will be configured like Pod #1, but the actual buildings may be the same size as Pod #2's buildings. Stay tuned...
Outline of the new construction site suggests another pod similar in building space configuration to Pod #1. However the actual buidings appear to be narrower based on the footprint outline.

Simulation of the new building using Pod #2 buildings as templates. The Pod #2 buildings under construction fit the dug out area in Pod #3, which suggests the smaller sized buildings could be located in Pod #3 too.
A lot is happening at the site of the Jalisco Estates construction. That said, the plan to have the area ready for guests by November seems ambitious and likely not going to happen. November, 2021.....? Stay tuned...
