Vidanta Alegria - Moves to Napoli (Naples), Italy - March, 2018

Vidanta Alegria has moved from Cadiz, Spain to Naplesi, Italy. The makeover is continuing. The basic ship structure is pretty much cast in stone. But, the configuration of the staterooms may be changing. It is not known how the ship is changing though.In 2017, a member of the sales department stated the number of guests on the ship would be reduced to 300 from 500 guests. Nearly all of the ship's staterooms had no balconies. Just look at the photo at the top of this page to get an idea of what the ship looked like before Vidanta made changes to it.
We now hear the ship may be named Elegance. So far, that has not officially happened. However, maybe that is what the ship will turn into - Elegance.
Early 2019 is the anticipated arrival date.
